the city, as patchwork of structures and materials led to the shapes and prints of the new collection. the rigid forms of concrete blending together into wild landscapes. starting on a flat grid, constructing a complex entity by layering volumes and flat cut outs. comparable with a round of rock, paper, scissors: which element wins over the square? when is the purple beaten by the red? where are the cut outs stronger as a print or in the fabric? and in the end the process turned out to be as playful, random and organic as urban architecture grows.
